05.05.2016 - Version 4.0 Released
Version 4.0 of SmartRename is now available. Due to the demise of tvrage.com, this new version of SmartRename changes the listings provider to tvmaze.com. TVmaze is a fairly comprehensive listings database, but since it has been populated independently of tvrage.com there will be some differences in the naming of shows and episodes. Please use this version carefully and please uninstall your existing version first!

22.09.2011 - Version 3.3 Released
Version 3.3 of SmartRename is now available. This version primarily addresses a feed change by tvrage. Two additional bugs are hopefully resolved too: The first is to fix
context menu issues on Windows 7 (you may need to untick/re-tick the "Add to Context Menu" option). The second is to fix issues when adding multiple files in one go.
The reason tvrage has changed their feed seems to be due to a server move/re-shuffle. After testing it seems their system is a lot slower to respond to queries now. There is nothing i can do about this.

08.12.2008 - Version 3.2 Released
Version 3.2 of SmartRename is now available. This version adds a new "exceptions" feature. Along with the ability to retry failed queue items and also view item info.

25.11.2008 - Version 3.1 Released
Version 3.1 of SmartRename is now available. There are some big speed improvements in this version, along with improved drag/drop handling and full XP/Vista theme support. You can now also customize supported filetypes. I highly recommend users of previous versions upgrade.
